World Sparrow Day is celebrated on March 20 every year. It is a day to create awareness about the plight of the common house sparrows, which are fast disappearing all over the world. This is an initiative started by the Nature Forever Society of India founded by Mohammed Dilawar along with the Eco-Sys Action Foundation of France.
